2008 Registration Procedure
Two methods of registration:
1) Online
- for individuals & small groups only. Teams of 15 or more must register by mail.
- open from January 1 until camp is full. Only way to register after June 1.
2) Mail-in
- for individuals, small groups, and teams of 15 or more.
- open from January 1 to June 1. Only online registration open after June 1.
If you choose Online Registration:
- You will be guaranteed a spot in camp by receiving an online confirmation notice immediately after registering.
- You will have to pay the full balance with a major credit card.
- Easiest & fastest way to register.
If you choose Individual Mail-In Registration:
- You may send in a non-refundable deposit of $150 or the full balance.
Deposits are only accepted until May 1.
- You will be guaranteed a spot in camp once the entire camp fee has been paid and all checks have cleared the bank.
- You will have to pay the balance by June 1 or the registration may be put on hold.
- A fee of $40 will be charged for any returned checks.
If you choose Team Mail-In Registration:
- Someone from our staff will assist you in the registration of your team. Call 540-231-7143 or email oweiss@vt.edu
- Complete the "TEAM REGISTRATION FORM" and mail in along your team deposit.
2008 Discounts
For Early Birds:
$20 off before May 1 (except for Day Camps)
For Teams:
Teams of 15 players or more receive a team discount of $400 in form of a check at the start of camp, if:
- Team registers as a team of 15 players or more by mail only.
- Team manager must send a Team Registration Form with a deposit of $1500 to reserve space.
- Team manager follows up by collecting individual registration forms and checks to cover the balances at least two weeks before camp.
- All team members are in the same age group and of similar age and will play together in camp.
Cancellation Policy
- Registered campers may cancel at any time prior to the day
of the start of the camp. Registrants cannot cancel the day of
the camp or after camp starts.
- To cancel a registration, the registrant or a relative/guardian of the
registrant must inform the camp director in writing (by mail
or email).
- A reason for canceling does not need to be given and will not influence
or alter the structure or fees of the cancellation policy.
- If the cancellation occurs before the 14 day period prior to the start
of camp, a fee of $75.00 will be charged.
- If the cancellation occurs within 14 to 7 days prior to the start of
camp, a fee of $200.00 is charged.
- If the cancellation occurs within 7 and 3 days prior to the start of
camp, a fee of $250 is charged.
- If the cancellation occurs within 3 days prior to the start of camp,
a fee of $300 is charged.
- If a cancellation occurs the day of the camp or after camp starts, the
entire registration fee will be forfeited.
- The reason for canceling any registration will have no influence on
the fees that are charged. For example, a health issue or an emergency
reason do not alter or reduce the fees charged.
