Academies

The Goalkeeping Academy has attracted many talented goalies
over the past summers. The Goalkeeping staff in the past included trainers such as Rochester Rhinos and former Hokie Goalie, Chase Harrison, VMI’s Goalie Coach Henry Ellis, Elon University Goalie Coach Joe Crump, and Ferrum College Head Coach and former Goalkeeper Rod Baker.
The curriculum for the Academy sessions consist of fundamentals
in training such as distribution, catching, diving, communication,
and reflex drills. In addition, agility, flexibility, and quickness
are enhanced using the latest tools of plyometric training
available.
