1) Basic Arrival and Departure Procedure for Camp
Parents enjoy watching evening games
from the grand stand during camp.
ARRIVAL on first day of camp.
Check-in at Cassell
Coliseum: 11:00 AM-2:00 PM
First camp meeting: 2:30 PM
First field session: 3:00 PM
First meal in camp: Dinner
DEPARTURE on last day of camp:
Last field session/games: 8:00-9:45 AM
Skills championships: 10:00-10:30 AM
Closing ceremonies: 10:30-11:00 AM
Check-out at dormitory: 11:00-noon
Last meal in camp: Breakfast
2) Commuter (Day Campers) Information
The drop off and pick up schedule for all commuter campers (day campers) is as follows:
- 8:15 AM—Drop off at dormitory for 8:30 meeting
8:15 PM—Pick up at VT soccer stadium after final camp meeting. Parents may have to pick up at dormitory in case of inclement weather.
- There will be a COMMUTER ROOM in the dormitory where campers can store their belongings during the day and rest.
- Lunch and dinner are provided during the camp.
3) Room Key and Deposit
Each residential camper will receive his own room key. We will provide a lanyard with it. During check-in a $50 key deposit is required (check or cash). The deposit will be returned when the key is turned in during check-out.
4) What to bring to camp?
Here is a list of essentials for a successful camp experience:
Plenty of soccer clothes and socks, cleats, clean indoor shoes,
sandals, shin guards, bed linens (long twin), pillow, blanket,
fan.
5) Attending Sessions & Games
Parents are welcome to watch any sessions and evening games at the Academy. Evening games start around 6:30 PM every night.
